At the Heart Foundation, we’re united by our purpose: o stop all people in New Zealand dying prematurely from heart disease and enable people with heart disease to live full lives. Guided by our vision – ‘hearts fit for life’, for this generation and the next – we deliver prevention, nutrition, care, and support programmes across Aotearoa, alongside vital fundraising for heart research.
As a Heart Health Promoter, you’ll play a key role in promoting heart health within your community. Working closely with local health providers, community organisations, and passionate Heart Foundation colleagues, you’ll have the chance to make a tangible difference in the lives of New Zealanders.
We’re looking for someone who is confident, energetic, and an excellent communicator. If you love connecting with people and supporting your community, this could be the role for you.
While experience in health promotion is an advantage, what matters most is your ability to create meaningful activities and events that spark heart health conversations. We value candidates with a background working with diverse communities, an understanding of cultural factors, and the ability to foster engagement across different groups.
At the Heart Foundation, we celebrate diversity and prioritise the well-being of our people. Join us and make a real difference in your community.
