❤️ About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate Heart Health Promoter Northland to join our Care and Support Team. In this community-based role, you’ll champion heart health across the Northland region: raising awareness, sharing knowledge, and delivering meaningful initiatives that make a difference.

You'll collaborate with local providers, community groups, and a caring internal team who’ve got your back, all while making a meaningful impact every single day.

❤️ What You’ll Do

  • Leading local programmes and education initiatives
  • Representing the Heart Foundation at local events and collaborate on regional campaigns
  • Creating inclusive spaces for people to learn and connect 
  • Supporting individuals and whānau living with heart conditions
  • Collaborating with organisations and health providers

❤️ What You’ll Bring

  • Energy, empathy, and strong communication skills
  • Confidence engaging with a wide range of people
  • Experience in community engagement, health promotion, or supporting diverse communities
  • A passion for helping others thrive — in big ways and small
  • Experience in health, education, community development or a similar area
  • Organised, self-motivated, and comfortable managing your own schedule
  • A full NZ driver’s licence and flexibility for the occasional evening/weekend event
  • Bonus points for experience in health promotion or public health, but it’s your connection with people that counts most.
